Alec Saturley has a strong background in information technology and operations management. Alec started their career as an Operations Manager at US Office Products in 1992 and held the position for 8 years. From 2001 to 2008, they worked at Optimal Solutions Inc. as an Operations Manager, overseeing student management software sales, project management, and implementation. During this time, they developed expertise in prospecting, cultivating business relationships, conducting software demonstrations, negotiating and closing sales, and managing product implementation procedures. In 2009, Alec joined the Diocese of Grand Rapids as a System/Database Administrator. Alec was later promoted to Assistant Director of Information Technology and then Director of Information Technology, where they played a crucial role in managing and leading the IT department.

Diocese of Grand Rapids
The Diocese of Grand Rapids was established May 19, 1882 and originally consisted of much of the northern and western parts of the Lower Peninsula. Since 1971 the diocese comprises 11 counties of Western Michigan: Ionia, Kent, Lake, Mason, Mecosta, Montcalm, Muskegon, Newaygo, Oceana, Osceola, and Ottawa. The Diocese of Grand Rapids currently serves over 175,000 Catholics, 80 parishes, and 31 schools located within its 11-counties.
