Amy Schmeding

Amy Schmeding, CPA, is an accomplished accountant currently serving the Diocese of Kalamazoo since August 2020, where responsibilities encompass various bookkeeping and accounting functions. Prior to this role, Amy held positions including Senior Audit Professional at Seber Tans, Assistant Controller for the School of Medicine at Western Michigan University, and Assurance Staff at Plante & Moran, PLLC. The professional journey began with an internship at Plante & Moran, PLLC in 2009, followed by a teller position at Forest Park National Bank & Trust in 2008, which developed customer service skills. Amy earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting, graduating Cum Laude from Saint Mary's College in 2010.
