Alena Safonava, CPP, CLMS, currently serves as the HR Compliance Assistant Director and previously held the role of Human Resources Compliance Manager at the Diocese of Orlando since November 2021. Prior to this, Alena was a Senior Payroll Specialist at Orlando Health from March 2021 to November 2021 and worked as a Payroll Team Lead at the Diocese of Orlando between January 2020 and March 2021. Alena's career began as a Payroll Coordinator in the Finance Department at the Orange County Property Appraiser, Florida, from July 2016 to January 2020, and included a position as Financial Manager at Comfort Dental Centers from March 2008 to July 2016. Alena holds a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Belarusian State Pedagogical University, earned between 2000 and 2004.
