Catherine Marques Messier

Catherine Marques Messier, CPA has a strong background in finance and auditing. Catherine Marques started their career at JG Hodgson & Company, CPA's in 1984 as a Senior Accountant and worked there until 1987. From 1987 to 1992, Catherine served as a Senior Internal Auditor at Hasbro, gaining valuable experience in internal auditing. In 1993, they joined the Diocese of Providence as the Director of Parish Financial Assistance/Internal Audit, a role they continue to hold. Throughout their career, Catherine has demonstrated their expertise in financial management and audit.

Catherine Marques Messier, CPA completed their Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) degree in Accounting from Southeastern Massachusetts University/University of Massachusetts. Catherine Marques attended this institution from 1980 to 1984. Prior to their college education, they attended Bishop Gerrard High School in Fall River, Massachusetts from 1976 to 1980.

In addition to their academic qualifications, they have obtained the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification. This certification was granted to Catherine by the State of Rhode Island and Providence Plantations - Board of Accountancy in September 1990.
