John Codega

John Codega has been serving as a Roman Catholic Priest at the Diocese of Providence since June 1999. Prior to their ecclesiastical role, John held various maritime positions including Captain and Relief Captain at Blount Small Ship Adventures from June 1981 to July 2010, and Captain at Bay Queen Cruises from June 1981 to September 1997. Additionally, John was Projects Manager at Franklin Environmental Services from July 1989 to March 1994 and Contracts Administrator at Swepco Environmental from June 1987 to July 1989. John obtained a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from The Catholic University of America in 1984 and later earned a Bachelor of Sacred Theology (STB) and Master of Divinity (MDiv) in Theology/Theological Studies from St. Mary's Seminary and University between 1994 and 1999.
