John Belmonte

John Belmonte currently serves as the Superintendent of Catholic Education for the Diocese of Venice in Florida since July 2020 and holds the position of Board President at APPostolic since August 2011. Prior to these roles, John Belmonte was the Superintendent of Catholic Schools for the Diocese of Joliet from July 2010 to July 2020 and Principal at Marquette University High School from July 2004 to July 2010. Earlier in their career, John Belmonte worked as the Director of Pastoral Ministry at St. Ignatius College Prep from July 1999 to July 2003. John's educational background includes a Ph.D. in Educational Leadership and Administration from Loyola University Chicago, a Licentiate in Sacred Theology from Weston Jesuit School of Theology, a Baccalaureate of Sacred Theology from Pontifical Gregorian University, and a Bachelor of Arts in History from Marquette University.
