Helen Marie Choiniere

Helen Marie Choiniere is an experienced educator with a diverse background in teaching visual arts and elementary education. Currently serving as an Elementary School Teacher for the Diocese of Worcester since October 2023, Helen also teaches visual arts at the Danforth Art Museum and Danforth Art School since June 2016. Previous roles include serving as an Elementary School Educator at Saint Anna School and a Visual Art Teacher at Seven Hills Charter Public School. Helen has extensive experience in early childhood education as the Early Childhood Director at Playschool and held the position of Arts Director at Cambridge-Ellis School. Additionally, Helen worked as a Special Education Teacher Assistant at Newton Public Schools and has been a Professor of Fine Art Photography and Art History at Northeastern University. Helen holds multiple degrees, including a Master’s Degree in Fine Art Photography from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and ongoing Master’s Degree studies in Special Education at Lesley University.
