Gaurav Gandhi

Gaurav Gandhi serves as the Director of Development for Asia at Diode Ventures, a Black & Veatch Company, since March 2021. Prior experience includes over eight years at Black & Veatch as Project Manager and Head of Department for Renewable Energy, leading a team of 30 and managing over 5 GW of solar PV, battery energy storage systems, and wind projects. Gaurav has also worked as a Renewable Energy Consultant, focusing on wind and solar resource assessments, techno-commercial due diligence, and project risk evaluation. Prior roles include positions at Suzlon Energy Ltd, The Energy and Resources Institute, and Forschungszentrum Jülich, with expertise in wind resource analysis and feasibility studies. Gaurav holds an MS in Renewable Energy Systems from the University of Applied Sciences Aachen, Germany, and a BE in Mechanical Engineering from AISSMS College of Engineering, Pune, India.
