Rafiq Ahmed

Rafiq Ahmed is an experienced venture capital and technology executive currently serving as the Managing Director at Dipalo Ventures since 2016, focusing on early-stage VC investments in hard tech, particularly in climate, industrial, manufacturing, and medical devices. As a Venture Partner at NextGen Venture Partners and a mentor for organizations such as Techstars Chicago and gener8tor, Rafiq evaluates and guides startups seeking investment. Rafiq co-founded Nameless Ventures, an early-stage angel investment firm, and previously held leadership roles at Demibooks, where Rafiq drove the company from inception through its exit, and at Motorola, where Rafiq managed multimedia services and consumer experience design. Rafiq holds an MBA and an MS in Information Systems from Virginia Tech, along with a BS in Electrical Engineering from West Virginia Wesleyan College.
