Christopher M. Whatley

Christopher M. Whatley is a seasoned technology executive with extensive experience in software engineering and product development. Currently serving as Chief Technologist at Perscient since August 2020, Christopher also holds advisory roles and previous leadership positions at DipJar, including Chief Information Officer and VP Engineering. As a co-founder and Chief Information Officer of Alpha Drive from March 2018 to August 2020, Christopher contributed to enabling road safety through simulation, backed by Techstars Detroit 2019. Prior experience includes significant roles at Nickelodeon, Viacom, and Rio Nueces Technology, LLC, focusing on site creation and management, software engineering, and product development for high-profile clients. Christopher holds a BS in Computer Science and Math from The University of Texas at Austin and has pursued further education in a doctoral program in Math and Computer Science at the same institution.
