David Goode is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in leading and managing operations within the manufacturing and distribution sectors. As Chief Executive Officer of the Controls Sector at Diploma PLC since April 2019, David oversees a £300 million business focused on specialized wiring and automation solutions, guiding strategy for significant growth and M&A activities. Previously, David served as Managing Director for Essentra's Components division, managing a £150 million revenue stream and a large workforce. Other roles include Commercial Director at Duraco Inc and Commercial Manager at Moss Plastic Parts Ltd, where notable success in business expansion was achieved. David holds a BSc in Accounting/Information Systems from the University of Leeds and an MBA from The Open University.
