Johnny Thomson

Johnny Thomson is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in finance and management. Currently serving as the Group Chief Executive Officer of Diploma PLC since February 2019, Johnny previously held the position of Group Chief Finance Officer at Compass Group from January 2014 to December 2018. Additionally, Johnny served as the Regional Managing Director for Latin America and Managing Director of GRSA Compass Brazil, leading a major player in food and facilities management services. Earlier career highlights include roles with Hilton Hotels as Vice President of Finance and PricewaterhouseCoopers as a Senior Manager. Johnny holds an ACA from the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and a Master of Arts degree in English Literature and Political Science from the University of Glasgow.
