Diplomatic Language Services
Thomas Kurpit is a seasoned professional in language training and education with extensive experience in various roles. Currently serving as Language Training Supervisor at Diplomatic Language Services since July 2021, Thomas has also held positions as Language Training Coordinator and Client Support roles within the same organization. Concurrently, Thomas is an ESL Instructor at Northern Virginia Community College, a position held since July 2019. Previous experience includes roles such as Accounting & Human Resources Manager at ARC Relocation and ESL Instructor at LTC Language Solutions. Thomas's educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Linguistics from the University of Virginia and a Master of Arts in Linguistics from George Mason University.

Established in 1985, Diplomatic Language Services provides exceptional language training, translation, interpretation, and linguist testing to federal and state government, commercial and academic clients. We offer professional and experienced native-speaking instructors who provide exceptional proficiency-based foreign language training, specifically designed to meet our clients’ requirements. DLS offers training in over 85 languages. Our linguists and instructors are available for full-time and part-time programs. Programs are offered on- and off-site; in addition, teams and individual instructors are available to present programs anywhere.
