Klaus Scheldrup Andersen has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Starting in 2003, they worked as an Assistant Teacher at the Technical University of Denmark. In 2006, they became a Research Engineer and later a PhD Candidate at the same institution, focusing on ultrasound and ultrasound contrast agents in measuring blood pressure locally in the human body. During this time, they also worked as an unpaid SW Developer, designing and implementing a mobile phone application using J2ME and Bluetooth for device communication.

In 2010, Klaus joined Nokia as a Senior SW Engineer and quickly transitioned to the role of Technical Lead. Klaus then worked at Renesas Mobile Corporation as a Technical Lead and Senior Engineer, developing software for LTE/3.9G and LTE Advanced/4G wireless modems. Klaus also served as a SW Architect on a proof-of-concept project.

Next, Klaus joined Schneider Electric in 2013 as a Software Design Engineer, focusing on low-power wireless embedded devices for home automation and energy monitoring. Klaus was responsible for core ZigBee implementation activities and was later promoted to Architect in the Wireless Connectivity Team.

In 2014, Klaus joined Fingerprint Cards as a Senior Algorithm Development Engineer, where they played a vital role in the code development and organization of the algorithm department. Klaus served as a lead software developer and domain architect, responsible for the public API used in numerous customer projects. Klaus also worked on algorithm development, improving and implementing new functionality while focusing on user experience.

In 2018, Klaus worked at Retune-DSP as a Senior Engineer before moving on to Dencrypt A/S as a Crypto Algorithm Development Engineer. Currently, they are employed at Dirac since 2019, initially as a Senior Research Engineer and currently as a Principal Engineer, where their expertise in algorithm development continues to be utilized.

Klaus Scheldrup Andersen completed their high school education at Nørre Gymnasium from 1996 to 1999, focusing on the science side. Klaus then pursued a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical Engineering, with a specialization in Digital Signal Processing, at DTU - Technical University of Denmark from 2000 to 2004. Following this, they continued their studies at the same institution and obtained a Master of Science in Engineering degree in Digital Signal Processing, Medicine, and Technology from 2004 to 2006. Finally, Klaus completed their highest level of education at DTU with a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Diagnostic Ultrasound and Non-linear contrast agents from 2006 to 2009.
