Amanda Ayson, CPA

Amanda Ayson, CPA has a diverse and extensive work experience. Amanda started their career as an Accounting Horizon Intern at Ernst & Young in 2009. In 2010, they worked as a Research Assistant at Kenan Institute, where they compiled and organized research data for the NC Rural Broadband Initiative. Amanda then returned to Ernst & Young as an Assurance Intern in 2010.

In 2011, Amanda joined Carolina Union Production Services as an Assistant House Manager, where they created a welcoming and orderly environment for campus events and ensured campus policies were enforced.

From 2011 to 2013, they worked as an Assurance Staff at Ernst & Young, where they assisted with the integrated audit of public SEC clients reporting under U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).

In 2014, Amanda joined Unilever as a Senior Financial Analyst. In this role, they were responsible for month-end close, variance analysis, and presenting results to the leadership team. Amanda also developed a flexible labor budgeting model and budgeting tools for department managers.

Since 2016, Amanda has been working at Direct ChassisLink Inc. (DCLI). Amanda started as a Senior Accountant and progressively advanced to Manager, then Senior Manager, and currently serves as the Director of Accounting.

Throughout their career, Amanda has demonstrated their accounting expertise and ability to handle various responsibilities, including financial analysis, auditing, budgeting, and leadership roles. Amanda Ayson, CPA, earned a Masters degree in Accounting from UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School in 2011. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a specialization in Marketing Consulting at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where they studied from 2006 to 2010. In addition to their education, Amanda has obtained certification as a Certified Public Accountant from the North Carolina State Board of CPA Examiners.
