Arthur Young-Spivey

Arthur Young-Spivey has had a long and varied career in the creative and design industry. In 2021, they began working as the Creative Director/Business Development at Direct Dimensions, where they specialize in capturing objects from the real world and pushing them for any type of downstream applications. In 2013, they became the Creative Director of Technology at BluEdge. From 2004 to 2013, they worked as an Applications Engineer at a Solidworks Dealership, where they identified clients and prospective challenges and demonstrated a range of design and engineering solutions. From 2001 to 2004, they were an Adjunct Faculty at Parsons New School of Design, where they taught Computer Aided Design software and was the Director of the Technology Lab. From 1998 to 2001, they were an Innovation Consultant at Tru-ID and a Senior Designer at Lisa Smith Studio, where they designed products for the table top, Home/Office furniture, and house ware industries.

Arthur Young-Spivey received a Bachelor of Industrial Design from Pratt Institute between 1992 and 1997.
