Michael Agronin

Director of R&D at Direct Dimensions

Michael Agronin has a long and varied work experience. Michael began their career in 1986 as a Group Leader at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory. In 1993, they became the Director of Research at United Container Machinery, where they created the industry's first high-speed inkjet printing press for corrugated boxes and implemented 3D CAD. In 2003, they joined Black & Decker as a Front-End Insights and Project Manager, Business Development, where they invented consumer products and led global development teams. In 2005, they became an Adjunct Instructor at Loyola University Maryland. In 2012, they began a role as Lecturer at Johns Hopkins University. Michael is currently the Director of R&D at Direct Dimensions.

Michael Agronin obtained their BSME in Mechanical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology from 1980-1984. Michael then went on to The University of Texas at Austin to obtain an MS in Mechanical Engineering from 1984-1986. Lastly, they obtained an MBA from Loyola University Maryland from 2001-2004.
