David Soars

David Soars has extensive experience in risk management, currently serving as the Enterprise Risk Framework Manager at Direct Line Group since April 2013, where responsibilities include designing and embedding an Enterprise Risk Framework and enhancing risk management processes. Previously, during a tenure at Nationwide Building Society from April 1991 to November 2012, David held various roles, including Group Distribution Risk Consultant and Senior Regional Risk Manager, overseeing operational risk assessments and managing teams to ensure effective risk oversight across retail channels. David also has a background in retail management, having managed key retail financial service outlets. David holds an MBA from Henley Business School and has furthered education through the Institute of Risk Management.
