Russ Thomas

Russ Thomas has extensive experience in operational management, currently serving as the Digital Processing Centre Operations Manager and formerly as the Head of Mailroom Operations at Direct Line Group since April 2012. Prior to this, Russ Thomas held the position of Mailroom Operations Manager at the Royal Bank of Scotland from 2003 to 2012, overseeing day-to-day mailroom operations and strategic planning for processing inbound and outbound correspondence. Earlier career experience includes a role as a Close Protection Specialist in the Royal Military Police from 1979 to 2001, where Russ Thomas planned and led operations in various regions, along with serving as an instructor at the Royal Military Police Close Protection Unit. Education was completed at Broadoak.
