Rachael Howell

Rachael Howell currently serves as the Director of People Partners and Organisational Effectiveness at Direct Line Group since November 2021. Prior experience includes various leadership roles at Santander UK from December 2013 to October 2021, such as Head of HR Business Partners for Retail and Business Banking, Head of HR for Technology and Operations, Head of Culture Strategy, and Senior HR Business Partner in Retail Banking. Prior to Santander, Rachael held positions at Tesco PLC as Head of Talent Strategy for Global Group Commercial and Head of HR for Central European Clothing, among other roles. Rachael's career also includes experience as an HR Manager at the National Fraud Authority and as an HR Adviser at Yeovil College. Academic credentials include a BSc (Hons) in Psychology from the University of the West of England and a Post Graduate Certificate in Management and HR (CIPD) from BPP Law School.
