Mark J. Kohler serves as the Founder of Mark J. Kohler, has been a Senior Partner at KKOS Lawyers, LLP, since June 2001, and co-manages operations and client consultations with Mat Sorensen in Cedar City, Utah. Kohler co-founded Directed IRA and Directed Trust Company in October 2018 and has authored several books, including "The Tax and Legal Playbook," "What Your CPA Isn't Telling You," and "Lawyers Are Liars," focusing on business, tax, and asset protection strategies. In addition, Kohler co-hosts the Main Street Business Podcast, which has gained national recognition. Academic credentials include a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from Willamette University College of Law, a Master’s Degree in Tax from the University of Utah - David Eccles School of Business, and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Accounting from the University of Utah.
