Joel Byrnes

Joel Byrnes has a diverse work experience in software development and engineering. Their most recent position was as a Senior Full Stack Developer at directlink since 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Boyce Thompson Institute as a Full Stack Developer from 2021 to 2022, where they contributed to various projects involving Bash and Jenkins scripting, Angular, and Java API. Joel also worked as a Full Stack Engineer at Cornell University in 2020 and as a Software Engineer at NaviSite from 2015 to 2019, where they were involved in full stack development and deployment of client-facing portals. Earlier in their career, they worked as a LAMP Developer at Buildrr LLC from 2008 to 2015, focusing on developing and enhancing websites using CakePHP and other technologies. In addition, Joel worked as a Wordpress Developer at Southern Web Group in 2010, where they transformed Photoshop mockups into WordPress websites and configured necessary plugins.

Joel Byrnes completed one semester of study in Computer Science at the State University of New York College of Agriculture and Technology at Cobleskill from 1998 to 1999.
