DJ Kim

DJ Kim is currently the Director of Platform Engineering at DIRECTV, where they lead a team that designs and operates data services at scale, ensuring a seamless experience for millions of subscribers. Previously, they served as the Database Architect at AT&T, architecting a cloud-native database platform to support millions of users. DJ has extensive experience as a Database Administrator, having worked at companies like FNS, Inc., Internet Brands, and Leaf Group, where they optimized database performance and managed high-availability configurations. DJ earned a BA in Computer Science & Engineering from UCLA.
