Merike Gardner Svärd

Merike Gardner Svärd has a diverse work experience in various roles within the marketing and advertising industry. Merike currently holds the position of Marketing Manager at Ordna Bolån since May 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Lendo AB as a Brand Manager from May 2018 to May 2022, and as a Project Leader in Marketing from November 2017 to May 2018.

Before joining Lendo AB, Merike worked at Betsson Group, where they held the roles of Community Manager for Betsson Sweden from September 2015 to August 2016, and Brand Manager for Betsafe Sweden from June 2013 to September 2015. As a Brand Manager for Betsafe Sweden, they were responsible for planning and executing marketing campaigns in collaboration with product teams and external partners, focusing on brand building display campaigns and ongoing tactical RTB advertising.

Prior to Betsson Group, Merike worked at Carat as a TV and Digital Planner from August 2011 to May 2013. Merike'sresponsibilities included optimizing media buys and generating positive ROI for clients by collecting and analyzing empirical media data to create effective campaign plans.

Earlier in their career, Merike worked at Isobar as an Account Executive in PR & Digital Media from December 2010 to August 2011. In this role, they managed digital projects, acted as the primary contact between clients and web developers, and supported the project manager in executing PR campaigns.

Merike Gardner Svärd pursued their education in a chronological order, beginning in 2006 when they enrolled at the University of Warwick - Warwick Business School. Here, they studied Business Management and successfully completed their Bsc degree in 2009. Building upon their educational foundation, Merike then joined the University of Leeds in 2009 and completed their MA degree in Advertising and Marketing in 2010.
