Ard van der Veer RC EMFC has an extensive work experience history with various companies. Ard is currently working as the Director of Finance and Operations at Dirkzwager since January 2020. Ard also holds a position as a Member of the Supervisory Board at ChildsLife since October 2021.

Prior to their current roles, Ard worked as the Finance Director at MultiTankcard from October 2016 to December 2019. At MultiTankcard, they were responsible for financial management and supported users in their mobility choices.

Before MultiTankcard, Ard owned their own consultancy and interim management firm called A.J. van der Veer Consultancy from July 2015 to September 2016. Ard provided advice to start-ups on business model and financials.

Earlier in their career, Ard worked at Microsoft as an FP&A Group Controller from May 2014 to June 2015, where they led the Finance and Control team. Ard also worked at American Express in various roles, including Finance Director Netherlands - Sweden - Finland from February 2007 to December 2013 and FP&A Manager Northern Europe from June 2006 to January 2007.

Ard has also worked at IIR as a Marketing Executive Direct Mail, LASER Ministry of Agriculture as a Project Executive, Sigma Coatings Nederland as a Marketing Trainee, and Stork as a Marketing & Sales Trainee.

Ard van der Veer RC EMFC has a Bachelor's degree in Commercial Economy from Inholland University of Applied Sciences, which they obtained from 1991 to 1995. Ard later pursued a Master's degree in Economics and Business Administration from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (VU Amsterdam) from 1995 to 1998. Ard van der Veer RC EMFC then went on to attend Nyenrode Business University, where they completed an Executive Master of Finance & Control (Register Controller) program from 2017 to 2019. In the same institution, they also pursued an Executive Master in Data Science in 2019.
