DIS-TRAN Steel
Jennifer Gemar is a professional engineer who currently works with the engineering and quality control groups for DIS-TRAN Steel. She is a proud fighting tiger from Louisiana State University with a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering. After graduating in 1999, she joined the DIS-TRAN team focusing on the design of high voltage substation, transmission, and distribution steel structures. She currently serves on the ASCE 113 design committee and served as past president of the local LES Chapter. In her free time, she enjoys spending time at the ball fields with her husband and three boys.
