Libby Kiger has extensive experience in non-profit development and program management, currently serving as Director of Development at Disability Rights Louisiana since September 2012. Kiger successfully established and leads the fund development department, achieving remarkable growth in annual individual donations, average donation amounts, donor retention rates, and revenue from private foundations and corporations. A former Program Manager, Kiger launched a pioneering program focused on improving financial outcomes for formerly incarcerated individuals with disabilities. Previous roles include providing benefits counseling to residents in Southern Louisiana and serving as an Administrative Assistant, where organizational and research skills were developed. Kiger's early experience includes an internship at Orleans Public Defenders, facilitating support for defendants and enhancing court attendance. Kiger holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Loyola University New Orleans and a high school diploma from Georgetown Visitation.
