Millie Smith is a registered nurse who has worked in a variety of settings. Millie began their career in 2003 as a neurology/neurosurgery RN at Munroe Regional Medical Center. Millie then worked as a medical/surgical RN at Samaritan Medical Center from 2005 to 2006. In 2006, they began working as a pre-op/PACU RN at North Country Orthopaedic Group Ambulatory Surgical Center, where they remained until 2009. Disabled Persons Action Organization's mission is to provide quality and effective individualized services to developmentally disabled children and adults in Jefferson and Lewis Counties. The services are primarily geared toward helping families cope with the stress of caring for their disabled loved ones.
