Patrick Govang is an experienced professional with a diverse background in innovation and entrepreneurship. Currently serving as the Associate Director of Innovation at Cornell University and Co-Director of the AFRL Regional Network - Mid-Atlantic, Patrick has also held various leadership roles at Cornell, including Director of Strategic Initiatives and Technology Licensing Officer. As the owner of American Disc Sports LLC, Patrick specializes in disc golf course design, product sales, and training. Additional contributions include chairing the Board of Directors for the Disc Golf Pro Tour and founding e2e Materials, Inc., a notable green technology company. Patrick's career also includes executive positions at Agave BioSystems, Ethosphere Consulting, and Comet Skateboards, along with previous consultancy roles and significant involvement in supporting small manufacturers in New York. Patrick holds a B.S. in Product Design and Development from Bowling Green State University.

The DGPT is an organization dedicated to the promotion and growth of professional disc golf through the administration of our Tour, a series of elite professional disc golf tournaments across North America. We own and operate the Disc Golf Network, which manages and produces media associated with DGPT events and PDGA Pro Majors.
