Yi Xiang

Yi Xiang's work experience includes serving as the Director of Biology at Disc Medicine since 2022. Before that, they worked at Servier Pharmaceuticals as an Associate Director from November 2021 to January 2022, and as a Senior Scientist from April 2021 to October 2021. Prior to that, Yi Xiang held positions at Agios Pharmaceuticals as a Senior Scientist from March 2019 to March 2021, and as a Scientist from January 2016 to February 2019. They also worked at Harvard University, Office of Technology Development as a Commercial Assessment Fellow in 2014. Yi Xiang served as a postdoctoral fellow at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute/Harvard Medical School from October 2011 to 2015. They were also an Associate Faculty member at Faculty of 1000 Ltd from September 2009 to April 2011. Previously, Yi Xiang worked at the University of Michigan as a Graduate Research Assistant from January 2006 to April 2011, and as a Graduate Instructor from January 2009 to April 2009, and from September 2006 to December 2006.

Yi Xiang obtained a Ph.D in Molecular and Cell Biology from the University of Michigan, where they studied from 2005 to 2011. Prior to that, they earned a B.S in Biological Science from Tsinghua University, from 2001 to 2005. Additionally, Yi Xiang obtained certifications in "Solving Business Problems" and "Strategic Thinking" from LinkedIn in April 2020.
