Helen Lin

Helen Lin is the founder and CEO of Discern.io. Helen has over 25 years of experience in the financial technology industry.

Helen started their career as an associate consultant at The Boston Consulting Group. Helen then worked as a senior marketing manager at Charles Schwab & Co. and as senior director of corporate development and product management at BlueLight.com. In 2000, they co-founded TheMarkets.com, a financial media company, and served as its independent consultant until 2010 when they joined MediaMath as an independent consultant.

In 2012, Helen became chief of staff and product manager at IHS Markit. Helen left IHS Markit in 2016 to join Goldman Sachs as vice president of product management and business development. Helen left Goldman Sachs in 2018 to join ComplySci as chief product officer. Helen left ComplySci in 2020 to start Discern.io.

Helen has a bachelor’s degree in economics from Harvard University and a master’s degree in business administration from Stanford University.

Helen Lin has a MBA from Harvard Business School and a B.A. from Knox College.
