Annika Saunders

Annika Saunders is an Associate Scientist at DiscGenics, serving since December 2021. Prior to this role, Annika worked at the University Inn & Conference Center - Utah State University from September 2018 to August 2021, initially as a Housekeeper/Laundry Worker and later as a Housekeeping Assistant Supervisor, where responsibilities included scheduling, staff training, and ensuring guest satisfaction. Additionally, Annika participated in a Senior Capstone Design project with Thermo Fisher Scientific between May 2020 and May 2021, collaborating with a team to develop foam sensing capabilities in fermentation processes. Annika holds a Bachelor's degree in Biological/Biosystems Engineering from Utah State University, completed in 2021.
