Chris Hyde

Chris Hyde is an experienced technology and information security leader with a strong background in compliance and risk management. Currently serving as Principal at Disciplina LLC since January 2024, Chris provides fractional CISO and advisory services to B2B startups, specializing in effective risk management aligned with frameworks such as NIST 800-53 and ISO 27001. Previously, Chris held various senior roles at Demyst, including Chief Information Security Officer and Chief Information Officer, leading technology teams and managing significant compliance initiatives. Key achievements at Kount included the maturation of the information security function and the establishment of a comprehensive data privacy program. Chris's career began with foundational roles in auditing and finance, solidifying expertise in compliance and project management through positions at Micron Technology and Extra Space Storage. Chris holds a BSBA/MAcc in Accounting and Finance from The Ohio State University.
