Marietta Sanders

Marietta Sanders is currently the Treasury Manager at Discord. Prior to their current role, Sanders served as a Senior Treasury Manager at TripActions from February 2020 to September 2021. In that role, they were responsible for daily cash positioning, Commercial Paper issuance and short-term investment. Sanders also opened and closed bank accounts, managed banking relationships andescalations from Lines of Businesses, trained and mentored new team members, performed SOX testing, audit and month end reporting, and managed Letter of Credit issuance and reporting.

Sanders has also held the role of Treasury Manager at Box from November 2018 to February 2020, and Expert Treasury Analyst at Pacific Gas and Electric Company from January 2015 to October 2018. In their role as Treasury Project Manager at Cisco from February 2006 to January 2015, Sanders was responsible for driving continuous improvement of Cash Management processes and tools by implementing a streamlined approval process for Letter of Credit issuance and amendment. Marietta also successfully project managed the development of an official Cash Positioning Training Module for the team, as well as the redesign of an existing SharePoint Site for Cash Management which improved collaboration and sharing.

Marietta Sanders has a Bachelor of Science in Finance from San Jose State University and an Associate of Arts in Business Administration and Management from De Anza College. Marietta also has certifications from the Association for Financial Professionals in AFP Cash Management Fundamentals and from Global Knowledge Training in Project Management Fundamentals.
