Dan Newman has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies in the retail industry. Dan is currently the VP Inventory Planning, Forecasting & Replenishment at Discount Tire, where they are responsible for demand planning, supply planning, and fulfillment for their stores and digital channel. Prior to this role, they held executive positions at Kohl's as EVP Merchandise Planning and Allocation and SVP Merchandise Planning and Allocation, leading merchandise planning and allocation efforts for the company across all categories of business. Dan also served as the VP Merchandise Planning and Allocation at Bath & Body Works, overseeing merchandise planning and inventory deployment for their store chain. Earlier in their career, they were the VP Demand Planning/Inventory Management at Best Buy and a Sr. Financial Analyst at The Pillsbury Company. Dan also gained experience at Tommy Hilfiger and Saks Fifth Avenue/Lord & Taylor. Throughout their career, Dan has achieved significant accomplishments such as implementing AI/machine learning-based technology for demand planning and growing regional sales through localized merchandise strategies.

Dan Newman attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison from 1995 to 1997, where they obtained an MBA degree in Accounting and Supply Chain Management. Prior to that, from 1985 to 1989, they pursued a BA degree in History at Binghamton University.
