Kent Downer

Kent Downer has over 15 years of experience in web design and development. Kent started their career at Primary Hub in 2005, where they designed and coded numerous business websites and email newsletter templates. Kent then joined Tornado Design in 2006, where they continued to work as a web designer, creating websites, logos, and print collateral. At Tornado Design, they also coded front-end HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for PHP and ASP based websites, and integrated designs with e-commerce, CMSs, blogs, and social media sites. In 2011, they joined Appointment-Plus as a Senior Web Designer, where they redesigned key site pages, built new sections and pages, and created icons and graphics for native iOS and Android apps. Kent also designed slide decks for executive presentations. Since 2014, Kent has been working at Discount Tire, starting as a Front-End Web Developer II, and progressing to Senior UX Designer and currently, Lead UX Designer.

Kent Downer completed their undergraduate studies at the University of Phoenix from 2000 to 2004, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology. Additionally, they obtained a UX Certification from the Nielsen Norman Group in 2014, although the specific month is not provided.
