Dr. Nora Steffens

Dr. Nora Steffens has extensive work experience in various roles. Dr. Nora started their career as a PHD Student at Heinrich-Heine-Universität Düsseldorf in August 2016 and held this position until February 2020. Following this, they worked as a Life Science Specialist at VWR, part of Avantor, from March 2020 to May 2023. Currently, they are working as a Regional Sales Manager for Microscopy at Discover Echo Inc. since May 2023.

Dr. Nora Steffens has a diverse education history in the field of biosciences and molecular cell biology. Dr. Nora obtained a Bachelor's degree in Biosciences from the University of Münster in 2014. Following that, they pursued a semester abroad at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology, where they focused on Biomedicine and Immunology in 2013-2014. In 2014-2016, they enrolled in Bielefeld University and completed a Master's degree in Molecular Cellbiology. In 2015, they also embarked on a traineeship at the University of Queensland, specifically at the Institute for Molecular Bioscience. Additionally, they gained practical experience through a traineeship in Forensic Toxicology at Forensic Medicine Essen. Apart from their education, Dr. Steffens has acquired several certifications including Laboratory Animal Science and Animal Welfare (FELASA B) from ZETT Düsseldorf, Project Management from iGRAD Workshop, Representative for Genetic Technology Safety Regulations from AGCT, and Scientific Image Processing and Analysis from BioVoxxel.
