Joan King

Joan King is an accomplished executive in digital leadership with extensive experience in eCommerce and customer experience. Currently serving as SVP Digital at Discover Financial Services, Joan previously held various high-level positions at Crate and Barrel, including EVP Digital and International, where responsibilities included overseeing strategy, operations, customer experience, and P&L for the company’s eCommerce platforms. Earlier roles at Organic and Cognitive Arts focused on information architecture and content management, further establishing expertise in digital strategy. Joan holds a BA in English from Boston College, an MA in Writing from DePaul University, and completed all coursework towards a Ph.D. in English at the University of Illinois Chicago.
