Devyn Whitmire

Devyn Whitmire is an experienced professional in digital engagement and marketing, currently serving as the Digital Engagement Manager and formerly the Tourism Marketing Coordinator at the South Carolina Department of Parks, Recreation & Tourism since July 2016. Previous experience includes roles as Communications Ministry Assistant at Lexington Baptist Church and Human Resources and Customer Experience Director at Chick-fil-A Dave Lyle Boulevard, where responsibilities included marketing promotions and applicant interviews. Devyn also gained valuable experience as a Camp SummerSalt Staffer with the South Carolina Baptist Convention and completed internships with Rock Hill Parks, Recreation, and Tourism and Anne Springs Close Greenway. Volunteer work was done with the Boys and Girls Clubs of York County. Devyn holds a Bachelor of Arts and Sciences degree in Integrated Marketing Communication from Winthrop University, attained in 2014.
