Dilan Jayakody

Dilan Jayakody has extensive experience in the aviation and travel industry, currently serving as General Manager for Discover the World in Thailand since July 2019, where strategic initiatives have led to a profitability turnaround and team empowerment. Dilan also holds the position of Regional Vice President Aviation for Acorn Group, overseeing operations in Sri Lanka and Thailand. Previous roles include General Manager and Vice President at Malaysia Airlines, where Dilan excelled in sales and marketing leadership, and Senior Account Manager at WSO2, focused on customer relations. Dilan's career commenced at SriLankan Airlines, where management training laid the foundation for effective engagement with government and corporate clients. Dilan holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Colombo and is currently pursuing an Executive Education Program in Business Administration and Management at the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore.
