Galina Vengerov

Galina Vengerov is a highly energetic and self-motivated professional with over 25 years of design, product development and overseas sourcing, costing and production experience. Galina has held a variety of roles with different companies, beginning in 1997 with P.J. Kids as a Product Development Designer. In 2003, they moved to Li & Fung USA as a Senior Merchandiser, followed by CodyDirect in 2009 as a Director of Product Development, Design and Overseas Sourcing. Galina then held the same role at US HOME TEXTILES GROUP, LLC from 2012 to 2014, and in 2021 they became the VP of Product Development, Sourcing, Production at Discover NIGHT. In each role, they have been responsible for building, developing, nurturing, and maintaining positive relationships with vendors, collaborating with mainland offices and overseas factories and buyers, overseeing vendor selection of projects, and leveraging and identifying vendor capabilities. Additionally, they have been responsible for conducting strategic negotiations, supplier selection, and management, proactively evaluating corporate needs and establishing guidelines for cost savings, and creating original textile designs.

Galina Vengerov earned their Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in International Business from Baruch College between 1993 and 1997. Galina also holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Theirtory of Art from the National Academy of Fine Arts and Architecture, which they obtained between 1985 and 1989.
