Pat Cassella has over 30 years of experience in the technology and distance learning industries. From 1987 to 1994, Pat worked as a Systems Engineer at Norden Systems. In 1994, Pat moved to General Datacomm as a Software Development Manager ATM. In 1999, Pat joined Entrata Communications as the Director of Technology and Planning. In 2000, Pat began working at VBrick Systems, first as the Vice President of Educational Markets, then as the Senior Director of Marketing - Education, and finally as the Director of Product Management. In 2008, Pat became the Vice President of Government/Education Sales, Marketing and Product Development at IDSolutions. That same year, Pat also became the President of ETC Video. In 2017, Pat moved to Discover Video Inc. as the Vice President of Sales. Finally, in 2021, Pat joined VDO360 as the Vice President of Worldwide Channel Sales. Currently, Pat is the Executive Director of the United States Distance Learning Association.
Pat Cassella's education history consists of three degrees. In 1985, they completed an Associate of Science in Electrical Engineering (ASEE) from Norwalk Community College. From 1987 to 1991, they earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering (BSEE) from the University of Bridgeport. Finally, from 1991 to 1994, they completed a Master of Science in Computer Science and Engineering (MSCS) from the University of New Haven.
