Scott Cone

Scott Cone is an experienced professional with a diverse background in leadership roles across various sectors. Currently serving as the Adventure Consultant and President, Owner, and Chief Exploration Officer at Discovery Bicycle Tours since May 2018, Scott is integral to a company recognized for its personalized bicycle touring experiences. Prior experience includes positions as CEO of Osprey Bicycle Tours and Tour Leader at Adventure Cycling Association, both from 2018 to August 2024. Scott's earlier career features significant roles at Merkle, where responsibilities included SVP of Marketing Analytics amidst the company's substantial growth, as well as leadership positions at Trilogy, IBM, Epsilon, and AT&T. Academically, Scott holds advanced degrees in Natural Resources from Cornell University and Statistics from North Carolina State University, along with a bachelor's degree in Biology from Oklahoma State University.
