Paul and Robin Bemis

Paul and Robin Bemis have a diverse background in education and pastoral leadership. As a Substitute Teacher at the Sonoma County Office of Education since April 2024, Paul has been involved in special education. In addition, Paul serves as an Assistant Pastor at Discovery Church, starting in January 2019, while also fulfilling duties as a School Bus Driver for Sonoma Valley Unified School District since August 2016 and previously for Petaluma City Schools from June 2015 to June 2016. Earlier in career, Paul was a Pastor at Open Door Christian Church from August 1981 to January 2015, focusing on community empowerment. Academic credentials include a Bachelor's degree in Communication and Media Studies and a Bachelor of Arts in Speech Communication and Rhetoric from San Francisco State University, completed between 1979 and 1981.
