Drew Hammill

Drew Hammill currently holds the position of Senior Instructional Design Manager at Discovery Education since January 2020, following a role as Instructional Design Manager. Prior to this, Drew served as Assistant Principal at Cabarrus Charter Academy from July 2018 to January 2020 and spent nearly a decade at Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools in various capacities, including Curriculum Specialist for K-12 social studies and 9-12 social studies teacher and Department Chair at Phillip O Berry Academy. Drew began a career in education in 2008 with a year of service as a volunteer with AmeriCorps, assisting prospective first-generation college students. Drew holds a Master's in School Administration and a Bachelor's in Education, both from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
