Ted Willard

Ted Willard is a Senior Science Content Expert at Discovery Education, where they focus on developing curriculum materials aligned with the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS). Previously, Ted served as Assistant Executive Director of Science Standards for the National Science Teachers Association (NSTA), where they created numerous resources promoting three-dimensional learning. With a rich background that includes editing science textbooks and teaching high school physics, Ted contributed to significant projects at the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) related to standards-based education reform. Ted holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Earth, Atmospheric, and Planetary Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
