Jairo Alfredo Peralta

Jairo Alfredo Peralta is the CEO and Founder of Discovery Energy Services Colombia S.A., an international oilfield services company based in Bogota, Colombia, specializing in high-quality drilling and workover rig services as well as project management since December 2008. Prior to this role, Jairo Alfredo Peralta worked at Schlumberger from August 2000 to December 2008, serving as a Senior Well Engineer in France and managing the design and execution of HP/HT vertical and deviated gas wells in Mexico. Additional roles included Project Optimization Leader for drilling and completion of oil wells in Poza Rica, Veracruz, and well engineering positions in Ecuador and Colombia. Jairo Alfredo Peralta holds a degree in Petroleum Engineering from Universidad de America, completed between 1994 and 2000.
