Nicholas Fortuna

Nicholas Fortuna is a dedicated educator with extensive experience in special education and sports coaching across various institutions within Jefferson Parish and Orleans Parish. Currently serving as a Special Educator for Inclusion Social Studies/ELA at Kenner Discovery Health Sciences Academy since May 2019, Nicholas has also held positions as a head coach for girls varsity bowling and assistant football coach. Earlier roles include coaching middle school baseball and serving as a special educator at alternative charter schools and public school systems. Nicholas holds multiple degrees, including a Master of Arts in Teaching with a focus on special education from the University of Louisiana Monroe and the University of New Orleans, as well as an undergraduate degree in Interdisciplinary Studies.
