Darren Stein

Darren Stein currently serves as SVP, Global Market Executive for North America at Vitality Global since January 2024. Previously, Darren held various positions at Discovery Limited, including Actuary (GM/SVP) since September 2012, and was seconded to AIA from 2013 to 2018 to support the development of Vitality products in the Asia-Pacific region. At Vitality Group Inc., from September 2018 to January 2024, Darren demonstrated leadership as Global Market Executive for North America and Vice President in multiple roles focusing on growth, actuarial, and analytics. Darren's earlier experience includes a sabbatical from May 2011 to September 2012, extensive travel around the globe, and a tenure at Discovery Life from 2006 to 2011 as Product Development Manager and Actuarial Analyst. Darren's academic background includes a Bachelor of Science in Actuarial Science from the University of the Witwatersrand.
