Prav Govinder

Prav Govinder has a diverse range of work experience in various sectors. Prav began their career as an Operations Manager at Durban Financial Consultants from 2004 to 2007. Prav then joined McKinsey & Company as a Business Analyst and later became an Engagement Manager from 2007 to 2015. During this time, they also had intern experience in the New Energy Division at Sasol in 2010. In 2009, they worked as a Sourcing Analyst at Edcon. Following that, they held the position of Deputy General Manager at Discovery Limited from 2015 to 2017. Prav then transitioned to become the Head of Direct Distribution for Discovery Limited from 2017 to 2018. Currently, Prav holds the role of CEO: Discovery Connect at Discovery Limited, responsible for the end-to-end value chain and P&L for D2C leads generation, client acquisition, and retention across all Discovery's products.

Prav Govinder completed their education, starting with a Bachelor of Business Science degree in Finance and Accounting from the University of Cape Town. Prav attended the university from 2003 to 2006. Later, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree focused on Finance from Harvard Business School, attending from 2009 to 2011.
